I would like to introduce myself as the new editor-in-chief of Student Publications.
I am excited to be assuming this role on campus.
I have a passion for writing and journalism and, when I graduate, I plan to have a career as a community journalist.
With this role comes responsibility to the campus community.
My goals for Students Publications include:
• Providing timely information,
• Reporting the truth,
• Providing quality content online and in print publications,
• Increasing web content,
• Being more interactive with the campus community through social media,
• Being transparent with the campus community, and
• Following the mission statement: to inform, entertain and serve the campus community.
This opportunity will provide a hands-on learning experience in my field of interest.
