There are several weeks left in the semester, and one university service is offering students a way to finish strong.

Tutoring on a variety of subjects is offered free of charge at the university’s Learning Enhancement Center. The LEC hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon. to Thurs. and 8 a.m. to 5 pm. on Fridays in Walker Center 235.

The LEC is available to assist students with papers, upcoming exams, and many other areas, said LEC Director Terry Phelps. It is beneficial for students looking to improve their grades and for individuals looking to qualify for scholarships.

Audrey Wagner, acting junior and student professional of the LEC said students should make use of the extra help, especially this close to finals. She said they are experts in their particular subjects and love what they do.

“During finals with so much going on its really helpful to have another set of eyes and ears look at your work and keep you on track,” she said. “Let us help you.”
