Police use teargas, flash grenades on more ‘Occupy’ protestors

Officers used force Saturday to break up a crowd of Occupy Oakland protestors after the demonstrators refused orders to disperse.

A report from Oakland police stated that the crowd “started assembling downtown Saturday morning and then marched through the streets, disrupting traffic.”

The encounter resembles an incident in November when officers pepper-sprayed protestors at the University of California in Davis.
