Campus hosts Homecoming events

The campus community will celebrate Homecoming events throughout this week.

 

TODAY

-A social networking event for Meinders School of Business will be hosted at 5 p.m. at Cafe do Brazil, 440 N.W. 11th St.

 

FRIDAY

-An alumni reception will be hosted at 6 p.m. in the Leichter Reunion Center in Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center.

-Lip Sync will be at 7 p.m. in Abe Lemons Arena in Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center.

 

SATURDAY

-Marianne Vannatta Race with the Stars registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 8 a.m.

-Campus tours will be hosted at 10 a.m. in the Tom and Brenda McDaniel University Center.

-Symposia 2011 will begin at 11 a.m.

–Section 1 – Revitalizing Downtown in the Great Hall in Tom and Brenda McDaniel University Center.

–Section 2 – Drawing Workshop in Norick Arts Center.

–Section 3 – Tea with Florence Birdwell, Jane Jayroe Gamble and Mark Belcik in the Small Rehearsal Hall in Wanda L. Bass Music Center.

–Section 4 – The Innocence Project panel in the Homsey Family Moot Courtroom in Sarkeys Law Center.

-The Family Carnival will be hosted at noon on the Quad Lawn.

 

SUNDAY

-A Native American chapel service will be hosted at 10:45 a.m., followed by a free meal at noon, to conclude the Homecoming festivities
