Oklahoma City university women’s cross country finished 10th overall and the men finished 12th Saturday at the NAIA Mid-State Classic hosted by Southwestern College (Kan.).
Freshmen Raechel Brown and Kendra Wilson, finished 25th and 29th respectively. Brown, 19 minutes and 29 seconds, and Wilson, 19:37, each ran personal best times in the women’s 5K race.
Freshman Ciaran Lane finished first for the men’s squad, with a time of 26:51 and finishing in 50th place in the men’s 8K race.
Both squads will take a week off and return to action in the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 5 in Shawnee, Okla.
