Statehouses advance anti-abortion bills

Statehouses nationwide are implementing bills and various tactics in an effort to keep women from receiving abortions.

Some obstacles women will face include “mandatory sonograms, anti-abortion counseling, sweeping limits on insurance coverage, and bans on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.”

The bills are seen to have a better chance of passing due to the increased number of conservative Republicans introduced from last year’s elections.
