Internet runs out of space

The Internet essentially ran out of space Thursday.

It has the capacity to hold 4.3 billion Internet addresses, and those addresses were all used up.

This didn’t come as a surprise to the nonprofit group that assigns addresses to service providers as they have already made plans to add 340 trillion more addresses.
