Raciness of MTV’s “Skins” spawns loss of advertising

MTV’s revamp of the British television series “Skins” has begun to hemorrhage advertising dollars as the network faces allegations of violating child pornography laws.

The Parents Television Council is currently instating a boycott of the series and is looking to begin a federal investigation due to the sexual content and use of drugs by underaged actors on the show.

Advertisers who have already pulled their ads from the series include General Motors, Wrigley and H&R Block.
